Task force seized more than 100,000 cubic feet of stone

Staff Reporter : A task force consisting of Public Administration, Police and BGB raided Bichnakandi and Anfarbhanga areas and seized more than one lakh cubic feet of stone. Meanwhile, 8 stone crushing machines were also seized.
The operation was conducted in Bichnakandi and Anfarbhanga areas on November 3. It was led by Goainghat upazila executive officer Md Touhidul Islam.
The seized 45,000 cubic feet of stone and stone crushing machines were kept in the custody of local UP member Md Jalal Uddin.
The remaining 55,200 cubic feet of stone has been kept in the custody of UP Member Md Pablo Mia.
