State Minister for Expatriate Welfare and Foreign Employment Shafiqur Rahman Chowdhury said that freedom fighters mean Bangladesh and Bangladesh means Bangabandhu. The debt of the brave freedom fighters cannot be paid with anything.
He said this while handing over Eid gifts to freedom fighters and upazila and union Awami League leaders at Bishwanath and Osmaninagar in Sylhet on Saturday, April 6.
The state minister presented this Eid gift to 150 brave freedom fighters of his constituency on behalf of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
