Bangladesh Awami League presidium member Syeda Zebunnesha Haque said that Bangabandhu’s historical speech on the 7th of March was the motto of the great liberation war. She also said, this speech was not just a speech or a speech. Through this speech, the father of the nation outlined the direction of guerrilla warfare and the future of Bangladesh.
Syeda Zebunnesha Haque was speaking as the chief guest at the discussion meeting entitled ‘Bangabandhu’s historical speech of 7th March is our eternal source of inspiration’ organized by Sylhet district Awami League on the occasion of the historic 7th March.
On Tuesday afternoon at the Zilla Parishad auditorium chaired by District Awami League Acting President Shafiqur Rahman Chowdhury and moderated by General Secretary, Zilla Parishad Chairman Advocate Md Nasir Uddin Khan, Vice President Principal Suzat Ali Rafiq, Joint General Secretary Humayun Islam Kamal, Mohammad Ali Dulal, Kabir Uddin Ahmed, Organizing Secretary Advocate Ranjit Sarkar, District Shromik League General Secretary Shamim Rashid Chowdhury, District Jubo League President Shamim Ahmed, District Tanti League General Secretary Sujan Debnath, District Mohila League President Advocate Salma Sultana, District Srcchasebok League General Secretary Jalal Uddin Koyes and others spoke in the discussion meeting.
Shafiqur Rahman Chowdhury said in the President’s speech that the historical speech of the Father of the Nation on March 7 will give political direction to the overall liberation movement of Bengalis.
Advocate Md Nasir Uddin Khan said that the speech of the Father of the Nation on March 7 is a source of motivation for the freedom-seeking people of the world.
Before the discussion meeting, at 11 am, the leaders of the district Awami League and its affiliates paid tribute to the portrait of the Father of the Nation in the premises of the Zilla Parishad building. Staff Reporter
