He said this while visiting various pujamandaps of Sharodiya Durgotsav in Sylhet city on Tuesday night.
He spoke to the visitors and pilgrims and inquired about the overall situation of Durga Puja.
Advocate Nasir Uddin Khan said that the current government under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has ensured equal rights for people of all religions.
He mentioned that people of all classes have risen above hatred and violence by composing Preeti Melbandhan, which has set a brilliant example around Durga Puja. Through the celebration of Durgotsava, development of harmony, amity and welfare will expand and develop.
