Distribution of rice seedlings to farmers has started

Special Correspondent, Habiganj : Distribution of rice seedlings has started among 500 flood affected farmers in Habiganj.
The rice seedling distribution program started at the Bangladesh Rice Research Institute in Nagura on September 23.
Bangladesh Rice Research Institute Head and Principal Scientific Officer Dr Hirendra Nath Burman and ASS Habiganj Head Zafar Iqbal Chowdhury distributed rice seedlings.
It should be noted that in the month of August, the rice seedlings of the farmers were completely destroyed due to two consecutive floods in the district.
Considering the helpless condition of the farmers, Bangladesh Rice Research Institute produces rice seedlings in its own place.
This rice seedlings will be distributed among the farmers of Habiganj Sadar and Baniachang upazila for fifteen days.
