Courtesy meeting of SCC Mayor with Prime Minister

Sylhet City Corporation Mayor Anwaruzzaman Chowdhury had a courtesy meeting with Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina.
Bangabandhu’s youngest daughter Sheikh Rehana was also present during the meeting at Ganabhaban in the capital on Monday, November 13 morning.
SCC Mayor greeted the Prime Minister and Sheikh Rehana with a bouquet of flowers in his first meeting after taking over as mayor.
Mayor Anwaruzzaman Chowdhury on behalf of the citizens expressed his sincere gratitude and thanks to the government and the head of government for approving a big project of Tk. 1459 crore.
He once again expressed his gratitude to Sheikh Hasina and Sheikh Rehana for nominating him as the candidate of ‘Boat’ for the post of Mayor of Sylhet City Corporation.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister greeted the people of Sylhet and reiterated that she is sincere in the overall development of this township.
