A two-day bus strike is going on in Sunamganj for four-point demands.
The strike started from Friday morning on the call of District Transport Owners and Workers Association. It will continue until Saturday evening. Passengers are in dire straits due to this sudden transport strike.
The demands of District Transport Owners and Workers Association are withdrawal of bus toll at Lamakazi bridge on Sunamganj-Sylhet road, stoppage of battery operated autorickshaws, unregistered CNG autorickshaws and BRTC buses and renovation and modernization of Sunamganj bus terminal.
President of Sunamganj District Bus Owners Group Mozammel Haque said that the bus strike is being held to realize the four-point demand. Sunamganj Correspondent
